Today Nintendo did an official preview that was streamed from New York. The video is available at the Nintendo’s Wii U’s official site. The preview was headed by Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime answering questions that were brought up from conventions and during their summer Wii U experience tour. For those that do not want to watch the video and would like the main highlights, here it is below (lazy bums):

- U.S. release is on Sunday, November 18th.
- There will be two types you can purchase:

Basic Wii U (white color scheme, 8Gb memory) for $299.99.
contains the following: Wii U console, Gamepad, AC adapter (for both console and gamepad), and High speed HDMI cable, Wii U sensor bar

Deluxe Wii U (black color scheme, 32Gb memory) for $349.99.
adds: More memory, Gamepad Charging Cradle, and Stands for GamePad and Console

- Wii controllers and ALMOST all Wii games are compatible.
- Demo of Wii U’s Nintendoland’s Metroid Blast game.
- Demo of Super Mario Bros. U
- Demo of Lego City: Undercover
- Demo and explanation of Nintendo TVii
- Trailer of Bayonetta 2
- Trailer of The Wonderful 101
- Announcement of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the 3DS and Wii U
- Trailers for Activision’s: Skylander Giants (3D platformer), ABC’s Wipeout (party game), 007 Legends (FPS), and Transformers Prime the game (3D fighter).
- Demo of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- List of upcoming releases from Wii U’s release date to March 2013.
