What do you get when you bring together great actors like Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, with the mob, and a mobster’s kidnapped Shih Tzu? Trouble … and, lots of it.

Oscar-winner Martin McDonagh writes and directs this hilariously whacky and violent film about a screenwriter (Colin Farrell) suffering from a combination of writer’s block and alcoholism. But, that’s the least of his problems. As bullets were flying all over the place and people were dropping like flies on-screen, Seven Psychopaths had the audience at The San Diego Film Festival laughing hysterically from start to finish.

For all who missed it, SDFF 2012 was THE place to be in Southern California this weekend for film-lovers, where more than than 100 of the best up and coming films, shorts and documentaries were screened.  Zombie Man, Liars, Fires and Bears, Score, and Redline just killed it here people. Poised to be the year’s blockbuster, Seven Psychopaths will be hitting theatres next Friday. You heard it here first.
